WHAT NEEDS TO BE TESTED:
All electrical appliances and leads from kettle to toasters,computers to printers,power leads to power boards also mobile phone charges if it attaches to a power socket then most likley falls under OH&S rules for the work place
TESTING INTERVALS: This varies from between 3 months to 5 years depending on the situation. Construction sites Builders : 3 months
Factories : 6 months
Offices : 12 months
Residential(Aged Care Motel) :24 months
TESTING PROCEDURE:

VISUAL INSPECTION:
Is the most important part of the testing & tagging procedure as 90% of failed equipment is detected from the visual inspection.
TAGGING:
A Pass or Failed tag will be placed onto the appliance, normally on the lead. Failed appliances need to be remove from service immediately .
REPORTING:
A full test report will be printed and place in a folder or sent to you in an Excel (csv) Format for any work cover reviews of your business showing information on each item and when to be re tested. All results will be stored on our data base for future reference if required for you for a period of 12 months.
